Most recently, Total Wine & More, America’s largest independent retailer of fine wine, spirits and beer, was expanding its California presence with an all-new location in Fresno – an extremely tight-knit community in the Central Valley.
Tasked with generating local awareness surrounding its new store, as well as developing business relationships within this new market, Brower Group created a strategic, one-of-a-kind PR plan that would attract consumers, local businesses and media to the store’s Grand Opening event, and connect them in a unique way.
Our team concepted and implemented an in-store event that invited local restaurants to bring in hundreds of “bites” of their most popular dishes at no charge.

The most television publicity ever achieved for a Grand Opening event in the company’s history. For what was truly simply a new retail store opening, we achieved four live, in-studio morning segments on NBC, CBS, and KSEE’s Central Valley Today, and an on-location segment with ABC.
